Celebrates 5 year anniversary for “Development and Intergration” Journal

In the morning of December 23^rd, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) grandly celebrated the 5 year Anniversary of the “Development and Integration” Journal. The event marked a great progress of the school in the Education and Research area with their effortful product.

During the opening speech, Mr. Do Quoc Anh – Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors has congratulated the contributions from scientists, teachers, and well-known economic experts, who have participated enthusiastically in the process of establishing and developing the journal. In specific, Mr. Do Quoc Anh also showed his gratitude for Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen – the Editorial Director, who has always been a great leader and spirit for the journal.

Dr. Do Quoc Anh – Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors promises that the Heads of the university will be keener on human resources as well as facilities investment in the future.

According to the Editorial Director – Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, the Journal has had 31 issues, with 440 articles and research projects from 320 authors. The journal has received a lot of positive comments from the specialist about its scientific contents and revolutionary ideas in the modern economy, society, education, and current affairs. The journal was also regarded as a crucial forum for scientific and academic ideas; as well as guidelines for raising the overall quality of science teaching and researching.

In order to make good use of current achievements, Journal of “Development and Integration” will improve itself gradually, aim to become a trustworthy scientific forum for exchanging ideas and theories; as well as take part in the journey of economy developing and innovating in light of globalization.

The Journal also received many valuable constructive feedbacks from scientists and economic experts for quality enhancement.

Originally known as the “Development and Integration” Science Bulletin Boards licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications (according to license No. 38/GP-XBBT, on August 4^th, 2009), the journal published its first issue in October 2009. Having successfully operated for 2 years, the “Development and Integration” Science Bulletin Boards attained a press operating license from the Ministry of Information and Communications; hence, upgraded to the Journal of “Development and Integration” (according to Decision No. 1243/GP-BTTTT, on August 5^th, 2011). After receiving the publication license from the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Science and Technology also provided the Journal with an International Standard Serial Number - ISSN 1859-428X. As one of ten qualified university science journals, the Journal of “Development and Integration” has brought to readers many advanced science projects and helped enhance the social economy theoretically and practically.
