UEF students and Pittsburgh students enjoyed wonderful moments
They shared mutual music taste
Students from both schools played with fun and energy
Saying goodbye to the salty smell of the sea, the students continued their way towards Ben Tre Province and Dong Tam Snake Farm (Tien Giang Province), where they would have a closer look at the lifestyles of the people here. Besides, the journey never failed to lose its attraction when students temporarily took out their “city” labels, connecting themselves to the natural, cultural vibe of the country like real farmers.
They visited Dong Tam Snake Village
Pittsburgh students experienced Southwestern water journey
They learned how to make coconut candies – a Ben Tre specialty
The journey ended with unforgettable memories
The journey enjoyed a perfect ending with visits to famous historical sites of Ho Chi Minh City such as Cu Chi Tunnel, War Remnants Museum, Xa Loi Pagoda, Thich Quang Duc Statue, Notre-Dame Cathedral of Saigon, City Post Office, Independent Palace, and Ben Thanh Market. Such a culture exchange meeting has tightened the relationship between foreign and Vietnamese students, creating an indelible impression in the eyes of international neighbors about Vietnam and its people.
