UEF to host the 7th TESOL Talk

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) is going to host the 7th TESOL Talk in the Auditorium at UEF head office (276 Dien Bien Phu, Ward 14, Binh Thanh District) on the coming October 15th.

TESOL Talk has been known as a series of workshops about speciality development for English teachers and lecturers periodically held by Australian Center for Education and Training (ACET), Association for Research and Teaching English and RMIT university. The program has so far attracted thousands of teachers and lecturers from various countries and been well-known in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

TESOL Talk - a helpful speciality development activity suitable for UEF 

With the topic of "Flourishing ELT Teaching English in a Changing World", this workshop is going to be a great academic forum in which experts discuss a variety of issues about technology in teaching, teaching methods, teaching values, and especially promoting language ability of non-native lecturers that is widely concerned by Vietnamese teachers and lecturers.

According to the Organization Board, this workshop is going to be attended by many speakers and experts from British Council, ACET, RMIT University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy, etc. Being large-scale and widely influential, the 7th TESOL Talk promises to be a good chance for both national and international experts, lecturers and teachers to exchange ideas, which will help to enhance their ability of researching and teaching English in educational environment. Especially for international standard universities whose main language is English like UEF, this workshop will be an opportunity for lecturers and students to improve methods, exchange experiences and develop creative ideas in teaching and learning, which helps to meet the high requirements of the labour market in the age of integration.
