Business Administration Students Explore a Professional Working Environment at FPT IS

On the morning of October 2nd, students from the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) participated in an insightful company visit and experiential learning session at FPT Information System Co., Ltd. (FPT IS), one of the leading information technology solution providers in Vietnam. This activity was conducted as part of the Office Management course, enabling students to transform theoretical knowledge into practical experience.

Upon arriving at FPT IS, students were immediately immersed in a modern and professional working environment. They explored open-space offices, utility areas, and smart meeting rooms, elements that clearly reflect a corporate culture emphasizing creativity, connectivity, and teamwork.

Students also visited the cafeteria and various amenities, gaining insights into how large enterprises invest in employee well-being and mental health. This helped them understand that modern office management extends beyond administrative tasks to include the creation of a balanced and comfortable working environment, an essential factor for organizational success.

In addition, representatives from FPT IS shared insights into the company’s philosophy and distinctive corporate culture, particularly how the organization maintains an open working environment that encourages continuous learning and personal development.

Beyond gaining professional knowledge, the visit also opened up clear career orientations for students. They had the opportunity to interact directly with company staff, ask questions about career pathways, and receive practical advice on essential soft skills such as communication, problem-solving, and especially the effective use of technology to optimize work performance.

Information about internship and recruitment programs offered by FPT IS was also shared, providing strong motivation for students to define their learning goals and prepare themselves for entering the job market.
