TEDxUEF 2024: Breaking Thoughts Barriers with an Inspirational Theme
JULY 17 - TEDxUEF 2024 will take place with the participation of the following speakers: Ms. Huynh Pham Thuy Tien - 2nd Runner-Up of Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2022, Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Dang - 2nd Runner-Up of Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, Mr. Bui Nam Khanh - Schannel’s VJ and Content Creator, CEO Kang Byung Jun - SNOW VIETNAM Corporation; Dr. To Nhi A - PhD in Psychology, Mr. Le Dinh Hieu - CEO & Founder of G.A.P Institute; and Mr. Tung BT (Tran Thanh Tung) - Co-Founder of Monkey in Black Coffee, Saigon Teu.
TEDxUEF is an event presided over by the UEF International Institute and implemented by the UEFers team. The program is divided into three different sessions, each consisting of two 10-minute speeches. With the theme “inXide out,” TEDxUEF 2024 aims to inspire students to break down all thought barriers, see the world from new perspectives, and discover the infinite potential within themselves.
Inspired by American politician Donald Rumsfeld’s famous quote, “We don't know what we don't know,” the program is based on the Johari Window model, which divides knowledge into four distinct areas: the open area, the hidden area, the blind spot, and the unknown area. This time, the return of TEDxUEF will lead students to explore the “X-factor,” representing the unknown region, where hidden abilities and aspects are concealed that they never realized.
With unique themes, the speakers will provide exciting perspectives for UEFers.
Each icon is a small piece, contributing to the creation of a multicolored picture of the human inner world. TEDx UEF 2024 will help UEFers discover the "key" to decoding and profoundly connecting with themselves.
Conveying meaningful messages
TEDx UEF consistently takes place in English, aligning with UEF's focus on language training. This creates an opportunity for students to improve their listening skills, expand their vocabulary, and enhance their social knowledge while engaging with the topics shared by the speakers.
In addition to developing language abilities, the program provides students with an opportunity to absorb practical knowledge from the topics presented by the speakers. Through deep sharing from distinctive perspectives, young people can enhance their knowledge, awaken their hidden potential, and unlock the best version of themselves.
The program's guests are prominent influencers in various fields, motivating students to pursue their goals in both study and life.

TEDx UEF 2024 will occur at 5:00 PM on July 17th at Cosmo Hall - Cosmo Academy (600 Dien Bien Phu Street, Ward 22, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City). The event tickets are available in two forms: online (on the TEDx UEF event fan page) and offline (ticket counter on the 6th floor - UEF).
