UEF to sign MOU with Universiti Teknologi MARA

NOVEMBER 25, the representatives of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) – Malaysia paid a visit and worked at UEF. At the meeting, the two universities' representatives agreed to sign an MOU in the near future.
On behalf of UiTM, there were Dr. Siti Nor Atika Baharin – Universiti Teknologi MARA Global, and Prof.Dr. Yamin Yasin – Universiti Teknologi MARA Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
From UEF, the meeting involved Dr. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director of UEF International Institute, and Dr. Pham Huy Cuong – Dean, Faculty of English.

Representatives of UEF and UiTM discussed long-term, short-term cooperation opportunities in international academic programs

After listening to each party’s overviews, the two universities' representatives discussed cooperation opportunities in the aspects, such as long-term cooperation in international double degree programs, internships, TESOL programs and postgraduate academic programs, etc; short-term cooperation in co-teaching programs, study, student exchange programs, Summer School, and academic and cultural exchange programs, etc.

The two parties agreed to sign the MOU in the near future

According to UiTM’s representatives, with many campuses present in most cities in Malaysia, UiTM features a myriad of academic programs, 31 faculties and academic centers, 14 Diploma Programs, and 16 Bachelor’s degree programs. Aiming at globalization of education, this university has cooperated with the US, Canada and is expanding its cooperation with other Asian nations including Vietnam. It has signed over 500 MOU with international partners, each of which provides students with various activities.
Through the meeting, the two universities' representatives agreed to sign the MOU in the time to come to provide high-quality international academic programs for students.
