JANUARY 11 - Following the meeting and academic discussion on October 2022, UEF welcomed and signed MOU with the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay (UWGB) to realize the collaborative opportunities of mutual institutions and to confirm the development in the UEF’s internationalization process.
The meeting honorably had the presence of Dr. Michael Alexander – President, Mr. Brent Blahnik – Head of International Cooperation, and Dr. Jittapim Yamprai – Specialist in International Cooperation.
From UEF, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President & Director, UEF International Institute, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet – Director, UEF Spanish and Latin American Institute, Dr. Phan Bao Giang – Dean, Faculty of Marketing, Dr. Pham Huy Cuong – Dean, Faculty of English, Ms. Nguyen Vuong Hoai Thao – Deputy Dean, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Mr. Nguyen Nam Trung – Assistant Dean, Faculty of Law, Mr. Tran Hoai Nam – Assistant Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute.
In addition, there was Mr. Mai Thanh Son – Vice President, Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts.
Representatives of both parties gave an overview of the study environment at UEF and UWGB.
Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc welcomed and exchanged new year greeting with Dr. Michael Alexander and UWGB faculty members, and gave a broad overview of the facilities, learning environment, and academic programs at UEF.
From UWGB, Dr. Michael Alexander has expressed his impression of the facilities at UEF. He also introduced UWGB as a public university established in 1965 and is now considered among the fastest-growing universities. UWGB offers many levels of education with diverse majors including business, finance, media, art, etc. Statistically, 95% of UWGB students have jobs after graduation, among which nearly 60% obtain employment ahead of graduation.

UEF and UWGB signed MOU, opening up many new development opportunities
According to the MOU’s agreements, UEF and UWGB will coordinate to implement the followings: the 2+2, 2+1 articulation programs, study abroad transfer, internship programs, faculty and staff exchange, cooperative projects, scientific research, workshop organizations, and co-teaching in online and offline courses of long and short-term, etc. Details of each program will be discussed in the following time.

UWGB delegation visited facilities at UEF
The meeting and MOU signing with UWGB’s President signalled new advancement in cooperative relation between two parties. As a result, UEF's international cooperation map continues to expand, affirming the image of an integrated and constantly innovating university.
