Exchange, cooperation between UEF and University College of Northern Denmark (UCN)

Constantly connecting and promoting cooperation with international partners to expand the learning environment for students, UEF had a meeting and exchange with the University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) - Denmark on September 22. The two parties had exchanges and orientations on cooperation programs in the coming time.

Representing UEF were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President & Director of the International Institute and Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director of the International Institute.

The University College of Northern Denmark had the presence of Mr. Peter Moller Pedersen – Vice - Rector, Ms. Mette Ostergaard Samuelsen – Director of International Relations, and MSc. Tran Quang Sau – Chief Representative.

During the meeting, the two parties gave an overview of their universities, discussed disciplines, and proposed cooperation in the areas of student exchange, international programs,etc.

Initially, UEF and UCN had discussions on the exchange of students from faculties,  commerce majors for short courses, internships, and research. At the same time, potential cooperation programs for double-degree programs, opportunities for UEF students to practice, live and work in Denmark, etc. were proposed. Prior to that, the partner representatives were given a tour of the university’s campus.

UEF’s worldwide cooperation map has expanded across nations, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain, Korea, Japan, and Thailand, to name but a few. Students have a wide range of options on transfer, study abroad, and participating in academic programs, semester abroad, and student exchange as a result of the ongoing search for and extension of collaboration opportunities.

University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) was established in 2008 and is located in Northern Jutland, Denmark. UCN is a university of applied sciences that conducts research, development and innovation in four main areas of business, social education, health and technology.
 
The meeting and exchange between UEF and UCN hopes to open up more opportunities for students, and give UEFers more access to new learning environments and cultures. Through international exchange and programs, students will be more confident when integrating and reaching for success in the current globalized context.
