One more destination marked in the "Map" of UEF study tour

After the 2 day 1 night tour seminar at Phan Thiet (January 17 and 18), students of UEF of Hospitality Management Faculty term of 2019 gained practical knowledge about their future career as well as memorable experiences with teachers and other students. 

Before departure, professional tourists gave an introduction about geographical and tourist information of the destination to students. 



Tour seminar took place in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet

The first destination of the trip is Wine Castle at the Sealinks City complex. Accordingly, students visited and learned about the winemaking process. They especially enjoyed glasses of authentic restaurant wine.

After the first activity, they had about three hours to have lunch, check-in and take a rest. At 15pm, the trip continued onsite activities. Students learned about the working process, practical study about each department, such as the front-office department, housekeeping department, restaurant and bar department,...

At each department, students provided specific learning programs. At the restaurant department, they learned about arranging and decorating party tables in the style of Asia and Europe. Besides, visiting the housekeeping department, UEFers were in charge of covering blankets and bed sheets professionally. In the bar department, students learned about the operation of bars and briefs of wine.

After learning activities, students spent time exploring cuisine, tourist attractions and relaxing in the fresh atmosphere of Mui Ne beach. Specially, they experienced services at a 5-star resort at Sea Links. 



The trip gave UEFers chance to play a role of a professional hotel staffs 

Not only did the trip help students advance their profession skills and knowledge but also expand their understanding about culture, lifestyle and cuisine of other regions. Such journeys connected students, raised independent and self-awareness competence in real situations.
