Students From The University Of Twente (Netherlands) Stirs Up The Atmosphere At UEF
With Tet holiday only a few days to go, UEF has the pleasure to welcome visiting students from the University of Twente (Netherlands). The visit is hoped to enhance UEF international activities and help students from both universities to learn new things.
The UT delegate was led by Ms. Joy Sheila Clancy. They were received by Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, UEF Vice President, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh, head of the International Committee of UEF International Institute, along with many other lecturers and students.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Cuong, a lecturer from Faculty of Economics, began the meeting by introducing UT students to startup in Vietnam. He explained why startup was quickly gaining ground in Vietnam, the fields that interested young entrepreneurs, and the changes in start-up over time.
After Mr. Cuong’s presentation, UT students enthusiastically joined in the Q&A session by raising many questions about startup, which were met with concise answers and helpful explanations from UEF international lecturers.
After the discussion on startup, students from both universities had the chance to know each other better through the interesting minigames. Passionate and open-minded, they quickly made friends and bonded well in the word-guessing games and fun quizzes.
Next came the introduction to Vietnamese culture and origin myths from UEF representative students. That would help the Dutch students to acquire useful knowledge during their trip in Vietnam.
