UEF Chinese Language major x Chinese universities: Promoting international cooperations

To expand international learning programs for students and create more opportunities to exchange and broaden knowledge for Chinese Language students in particular, recently, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures had a business trip to China. During this trip, she discussed future cooperation programs with Guangxi University for Nationalities (Guangxi Minzu University) and Guangxi University.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan met and discussed with the Vice President and Director of the Institute of International Education, Guangxi University for Nationalities. The proposed content revolved around online classes or workshops for students majoring in Chinese Language, conducted by lecturers from both universities.

Simultaneously, this partnership will help expand business connections, strengthen corporate networks, and facilitate opportunities for UEF students to participate in paid internship programs in China.

That was also the content of the discussion with the Director of the International Institute of Guangxi University. Another noteworthy thing at this university is that students also have an enjoyable annual summer camp.

Through the working session, both sides expressed their desire for a cooperative relationship to deploy future quality international programs for students. Particularly, Chinese Language students will have the opportunity to transit the study and life experience in a populous country with a developed culture and economy.

Previously, UEF and Guangxi University for Nationalities had organized many learning and cultural experience activities or programs in cooperation, such as study abroad online - "Chinese cultural experience" with valuable lessons on the arts of knot tying, paper cutting, ink painting, martial arts, etc. Most recently, UEF welcomed a group of students from Guangxi University for Nationalities under the international exchange program. This business trip promises to open up more exciting international cooperation programs, creating more development opportunities for UEF Chinese Language students.
