Participants included students from various high schools such as Nguyen Trai High School (Dong Nai), Ten Lo Man High School, Chu Van An High School, Nguyen Hue Junior–Senior High School, Duong Van Thi High School, An Lac High School, and Ngoi Sao Junior–Senior High School (HCMC), as well as university students from UEF, HUTECH, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Van Lang University, and Ton Duc Thang University. The competition was organized into two categories tailored to the target groups: the Genesis category for high school students and the Creation category for university students.

The Final Round featured engaging segments, delivering financial knowledge and mindset in an approachable way
The Final Round was attended by Dr. Nhan Cam Tri – Vice President of UEF, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, corporate representatives, and teachers from participating high schools and universities.
The judging panel comprised experienced experts and managers in finance, banking, and investment: Dr. Le Huu Nghia – Head of Internal Audit Department, Vietnam Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank; Mr. Dam Thanh Hiep – Chairman of the Board, New World Group Asset Management; Mr. Do Thach Vu – Director of Investment Advisory, VPS Securities Joint Stock Company; Mr. Vo Minh Duong – Director of Financial Products & Online Solutions Division, Smart Train Academy; Mr. Huynh Duc Dzinh – Deputy Director, Nam A Bank – Binh Tay Branch; Mr. Tran Anh Thi – Senior Advisor, HUSA Technology Joint Stock Company.

In the Genesis category, the four outstanding teams — Venture, Vanguard, The Golden Fortress, and Biết sao giờ — demonstrated confidence and agility with foundational finance knowledge. Meanwhile, in the Creation category, teams Calm down, Chính cương, UEFinity, and Liên minh tam trường presented more in-depth and practical perspectives on financial issues in today’s economic context.

The Final Round took place with two exciting stages in each category. Stage 1, “Decode the Image”, required teams to choose puzzle pieces by number, answer related questions, and decode the theme image after completing the full set.
In Stage 2, “Strategic Face-off”, teams were paired into two matchups, drew lots to take either the “Support” or “Oppose” stance, and then analyzed and presented arguments around real-world scenarios in finance and investment. This segment required not only solid professional knowledge but also critical thinking, presentation skills, and teamwork.
At the end of the Final Round, the Genesis category recorded First Prize for team Vanguard, Second Prize for Venture, and Third Prize for the remaining two teams. In the Creation category, team Liên minh tam trường won First Prize, Chính cương received Second Prize, and Third Prize went to the remaining two teams.

Through “CFO Aspiration Cup – Shaping a Financial Future with You”, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting created an open academic arena that connected high school and university students, helping spread passion for the finance field while equipping participants with foundational knowledge, strategic thinking, and essential skills to confidently embark on their future careers.
