This cultural event was jointly organized by UEF and the Consulate General of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City
In his opening remarks, Dr. Đỗ Hữu Nguyên Lộc extended greetings to the delegation and emphasized UEF’s partnerships with Indonesian universities. Earlier in November, Indonesian students had just completed their exchange semester at UEF. The cultural exchange program further deepened bilateral diplomatic relations and strengthened sustainable educational cooperation between universities of the two nations.

Consul General of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Agustaviano Sofjan, first extended his warmest congratulations on Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20) to UEF faculty members. He highlighted the strong ties in culture, economy, and education between Vietnam and Indonesia, noting the special significance as the two countries approach the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2025. He also shared information about the upcoming “Indonesia – Vietnam Festival Week 2024,” encouraging students to engage and discover diverse cultural experiences.

During the program, UEF students enjoyed captivating performances that reflected the distinct cultural identities of both Vietnam and Indonesia, presented through traditional dances, costumes, and musical instruments.

“The Symphony of Indonesian – Vietnamese Art and Culture” created a colorful cultural space, broadening students’ perspectives on the unique artistic and cultural heritage of Indonesia. UEF continues to host regular international exchange activities, offering students opportunities to learn, engage, and enhance their global knowledge.
