The opening ceremony of the France – Vietnam Job Fair was attended by Mr. Gregory Robert – Deputy Consul, Consulate General of France in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Charles De Champeaux – CCIFV BOD; Ms. Anne-Laure Vincent – Vice President, Institut Français du Vietnam (IFV); Ms. Christelle Gratton – Senior Advisor, V.I.E Promotion Business France; Mr. Fabien De Geuser – Director, CFVG; Mr. Alain Nguyen Pierson – Event & Communication Director, CCIFV BOD, along with representatives of recruiting enterprises.

From UEF, attendees included Mr. Đỗ Quốc Anh – Vice Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Nhan Cẩm Trí, Dr. Hồ Viễn Phương, and Dr. Ngô Minh Hải – Vice Presidents; together with leaders from various faculties, institutes, departments, and centers.

The event brought together nearly 30 enterprises from Vietnam, France, and multinational corporations operating in Vietnam, including Christina Noble Foundation, Idecaf, Passerelles numériques, Le Booter, PBCE International, Bouygues Construction, Les Vergers Du Mekong, Andros, Havas, Prodima, CFVG, RBA, Hong Ngoc Ha Travel, CCI France Vietnam, Capgemini, Mazars, Saint-Honoré, ITM, Artelia, and others. These companies provided students with valuable opportunities to meet recruiters and explore career prospects in international-standard workplaces.

Students also had the chance to experience product showcases by TotalEnergies and Annam Group. Recruiters prepared special gifts for candidates participating in interviews.

The diversity of enterprises and industries represented – including trade, retail distribution, accounting and auditing, multimedia communications, information technology, engineering, construction, services, tourism, transportation, and logistics – gave UEF students a wide range of career choices. Well-prepared for interviews, UEFers showcased their bilingual and international learning background, impressing recruiters with their professionalism and English proficiency. Their readiness and seriousness are expected to leave a lasting impression on employers.

As part of the job fair, UEF also hosted and worked with representatives from the Consulate General of France in Ho Chi Minh City, CCIFV, and participating enterprises. Discussions centered on training orientation, diversifying student activities, and proposing new cooperation opportunities in the future.

The France – Vietnam Job Fair lasted throughout May 25, giving students ample time to attend interviews and gather information. It is hoped that participating enterprises discovered promising candidates and that UEFers will soon become a high-quality talent source for international companies and organizations.
