1. General Introduction

Established in 2015, the Faculty of Law was formerly the Department of Law, offering a major in Economic Law. With the mission of providing high-quality human resources to meet societal needs and global integration, the Faculty of Law currently offers three majors: Economic Law, International Law, and Law. Most lecturers in the Faculty are young, highly qualified, and internationally educated. They possess experience in teaching and research in international environments and, notably, demonstrate strong dedication and commitment to students.

2. Training Objectives

General Objectives

To build an academic and research environment that promotes comprehensive, dynamic, and creative development among learners.
To integrate education with the development of practical working skills, professionalism, and social responsibility through close collaboration with businesses and partners of the University.

Specific Objectives
Most lecturers in the Faculty are young, highly qualified, and have graduated from overseas institutions. They have experience in teaching and research in international environments and are especially committed to supporting students wholeheartedly.

The Faculty of Law at University of Economics and Finance Ho Chi Minh City (UEF), although relatively young, has always been a pioneer in academic and extracurricular activities within the University. In 2017, the Faculty was awarded the title of “Excellent Labor Collective,” contributing actively to the University’s achievements.

Over the past years, the Faculty of Law has consistently been the top choice for many outstanding students with strong academic abilities and good personal qualities. The admission scores of law students have increased year by year. After graduation, students have numerous career opportunities in businesses, government agencies, research institutions, and non-governmental organizations, as well as opportunities to pursue Master’s and Doctoral degrees both domestically and internationally.

With the goal of developing each individual’s strengths, the Faculty of Law at UEF aims to become one of the leading law faculties among private universities in Southern Vietnam.

The Faculty of Law offers the following majors:

Economic Law: Business Law, Commercial Law, Banking and Finance Law
International Law: International Commercial Law, International Business Law
Law: Administrative Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law
