11/09/2021
Next, the meeting with the members of the "Tao Dan happy party" Project. With interesting games and deep connection activities, they had brought to the disabled in the Huynh Doan Kito Vua Association many jubilant moments, laughter and emotional tears. The process of preparing project activities as well as objective difficulties were difficult challenges. However, regardless of whether it was a rainy day or a sunny day, the spirit of enthusiasm and bright smiles were always on their faces. Completing the project was also the time when they reflected valuable lessons, new experiences, new perceptions.

The fourth project is the one covered with color: Spinning. With the goal of promoting creativity, breaking the limits to freely explore and express thoughts with drawing activities, the project members completed 5 activities with the children at the Truyen Tin Shelter and the General School 25 with enthusiasm, joy and creativity. They had used creative drawing methods to help stimulate children's thinking, thereby integrating messages about respect for differences, self-confidence, languages of color as well as non-verbal communication.

During the ceremony, everyone was able to look back to the community service products from students who participated in community engagement courses.
With the subject of Translation 2 from the English Faculty, their translation products are scientific documents provided by the Vietnam Association of Children with Cerebral Palsy (CPFAV). From these materials, useful knowledge will reach more families, thereby increasing efficiency when supporting children in daily life.

In the subject of Web Design, 2 groups of students from the Faculty of Information Technology accompanied with Ai Linh School of Love to develop a website for the University. The experience of doing jobs from practical needs will definitely help them a lot in their future career development.

"Organizing the production of radio programs" and "Film Editing" are the two subjects connected with the most community organizations/objects. The products show not only their very own views about community issues, but also their enthusiasm when devoting a lot of time to caring. Mr. Nguyen Phat Tai - Faculty of Public Relations and Communication, instructor of the course - said: “In the process of integrating community service, there were many difficulties, which surprisingly promoted many ideas, new knowledge, new skills as well as increased work efficiency. Above all, when I integrated community service into the subject, I saw the enthusiasm of the students when participating, there were many products that made me very emotional when scoring them."

In addition to teachers and partners, students participating in the project also received great support from their families. The program received many shares from parents, showing their maturity when contributing to activities that bring numerous benefits to the community.

We see that our children are more mature. Since he joined the activity, he has been more active and talkative than before.
He no longer goes early to late at night, he cares for his own life and for the community’s, we are very happy for that.
We hope that the UEF Service – Learning Center will have more activities so that students can participate in to practice social skills and improve their lifestyle in the future.

To have a fully completed project, it is impossible not to mention the community partners who have actively supported the students. “Trust” is an important factor for the cooperation. Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Bao Dung (from Ibsen Small Stage) expressed her thoughts when accompanying the "Tao Dan happy party" Project: "The weather was difficult during the project, which made them reveal their abilities as well as show their flair for people with disabilities. Through such working sessions, I see that the students are very diligent and observant. This strengthens my confidence in UEF students.”

And the important moment is when young people with enthusiastic hearts are honored and recognized for their achievements. The Certificates awarded for their contributions are proof of the well-deserved recognition for their efforts. With compliments and encouragement from teachers and community partners, UEF students are empowered and continue to participate in community activities in the school year 2021 - 2022.
