Let's share about life goals with the discussion "Lead your life with purpose"

27/04/2023
Within the framework of the online seminar series LEARN.SHARE.GROW, on the morning of 24/6, UEF Community Connection Center hosted its third session with the theme "Lead Your Life With Purpose".
Mr. Peter Cao, an English lecturer with the English project for disadvantaged children, is accompanying UEF students in this program. Besides his professional activities, Mr. Peter Cao also has many positive contributions to the community, which he views as his ultimate objective in life.

Mr. Peter Cao was the main speaker in this third session

The sharing session attracted a lot of UEFers' interest, as it had with earlier events. Besides useful knowledge, providing young people with many essential skills they need to develop and improve themselves. By sharing his own experiences, Peter gives pupils a greater grasp of life's journey and perspective, which enables them to gradually set goals for the future.

Despite taking place online, the activity still receives the attention of a large number of UEF students.

He explained that despite working hard to earn money in the past, he did not truly feel fulfilled or at ease until he arrived in Vietnam five years ago and met a large number of volunteer lecturers. He was motivated to engage in more social activities after that. He said that when you are in love with your work, you will not be working but rather "in love".
He became aware of the value of learning foreign languages, especially English, while taking part in community events. English opens up more options for underprivileged kids. This inspired him to start initiatives to provide more youngsters with free English classes.
Here are the speaker's seven points that need to be focused on in life.

Students eventually learned how to identify their own life's goals through the speakers who shared their insights and the suggested tasks. This issue has never been straightforward, therefore persistence is necessary. UEFers can discuss issues related to student life and their current objectives while interacting with speakers. Some of you also clearly understand your strengths and values at the same time.

UEF students can also engage with speakers by responding to questions on the Kahoot app.

The speaker gave in-depth responses to the speaker's deep queries as well as the students' real-world inquiries. Particularly, the story of the challenges young people in Asian households face in following their own objectives is discreetly critiqued. Young people must therefore constantly work to increase their ability and develop their communication skills in order to interpret, connect with, and get the support of family members in order to pursue personal goals more successfully.
You will have a knowledgeable companion to provide you with advice and solutions to many issues that arise in student life after the seminar. You can also use this as a chance to broaden your English vocabulary.
