UEF students had a chance to receive meaningful gifts at the beginning of a new school week with the Talkshow “Happy Career” co-hosted by UEF Centre of Service Learning and the group Dear Our Community on September 10th.
Students received “Double Happiness” gifts with Centre of Service Learning

The talk show was happy to welcome the participation of UEF Representative - Ms. Huynh Kim Phung - Coordinator of Centre of Service Learning; Representative of Group Dear Our Community/Speaker - Ms. Vo Ngoc Tuyen - Founder of Dear Our Community and Speaker - Mr. Ho Thai Binh - Director of SSVN Survival Skills/ Co-founder of SIGEN.
Ms. Tuyen, who has over 10 years of experience working in the social and business field, wants to guide students toward happy careers.
Mr. Ho Thai Binh shared his journey of finding Happy Career through his own expericence.

The sharing session focused on the topic of helping students identify “Happy Career” for themselves with message “You may both succeed in your career and contribute to solving social problems through the profession you choose”. Through the “Concentric circle” concept and interactive questions between the speaker and students through the “yes-no” cards, the sharing session took place in an exciting and energetic atmosphere of a new school week.
Students interacted with speakers through “yes-no” cards.

In addition to “yes-no” answers, the section where students pose questions directy to the speakers also shows the close and interactive atmosphere between the presenter and the pupils. Answering a student’s question “How do we know that we have career and happiness?”, Ms. Tuyen shared: “Ignoring what that job is, imagine how do you feel when you work, are you interested in working that job, answering the question of what value  my work creates for myself and others. We should start with the value of the life, that is the whole process that you have to go through to understand it, understand what we want. Ignoring what that job is, imagine the feeling when you work, do you find it interesting, can you answer the question of what value your work creates for you and others. Then, you will know what you want to find a happy career.”

Students interacted with speakers through a live question-and-answer session.

The sharing session “Happy Career” came to an end with the  sharing of knowledge and the beginning of a journey for the students to identify their “Happy Career”. We hope students had a meaningful and inspirational morning to get ready for the upcoming journey.
