In the close space and energy of the morning, UEF welcomes partners by introducing the Center and achievements in the past time presented by the students at the core of the project. This is the starting activity ready for discussion between the parties.

Together with UEF, representatives introduce community-connected activities in their units and how to develop and expand the Service-Learning network. The parties share a perspective on value and scale of development to create opportunities for students to access community activities.

With a vision of creating greater opportunities for students to participate in social impact activities, Stephen Chan said “Community activities should not be limited to one region, one country. There are many interesting things when students come out to experience in the international environment despite many challenges. Students will certainly gain a lot of lessons and experiences from those activities.”

“Given the international training standard, UEF is always ready to welcome international students to study and experience the environment here and to seize opportunities for UEF students to exchange and study in other countries. UEF is sure that learning and cultural exchange will bring valuable lessons and experiences to students, especially in an interesting and meaningful field of activities such as Service-Learning,” Dr. Nhan Cam Tri – Vice-Rector of UEF shared in the discussion of the orientation and development of Service-Learning activities.

VGU representatives also shared about the desire to implement the Service-Learning model “Although there is no basic operating mechanism such as UEF or experience activity platform such as PolyU but shared vision and direction, VGU is ready to accompany and cooperate in the future”.

In turn, the issues were exploited at this meeting, opening up the future of intercollegiate cooperation and further developing the Service-Learning model at the University environment. Hope and promise, international exchange opportunities in community activities will soon be handed over by UEF students in the future.
