18/04/2022
Recently, the UEF Service - Learning Center has organized a professional training program On - Job - Mentoring for students of Digi Me Project 2022. They had the opportunity to meet and discuss with the representatives from Community partners, who are experts in MarCom, about two training topics: Digital Marketing and Communication.
Members in Digi Me Project met and discussed in On - Job - Mentoring training session on April 18th

Accompanying Ms. Dinh Nguyen Thien - Director of UEF Center for Public Relations were four Mentors: Mr. Dung Quy Hoang - Director of Iris Marketing; Mr. Nguyen Dung Hung Anh – Marketing & Communication Specialist; Ms. Nguyen Hoang Quy – Account Manager CEO of UFO Asia; Ms. Nguyen Mai Thao – Sales & Marketing Manager, Perfect Global Vietnam. The presence of these guests was a valuable opportunity for Digi Me students to approach new knowledge related to Community Communication.
At the first meeting on On-Job-Mentoring 1 (April 18th), the students were cleared up by experts who have many experiences and advice about Digital Marketing problems. The aim of providing information on shaping personal "colors" and content processing techniques was to create better effects for community purposes. The sharing and reflection helped the members obtain the connection between the relationship and the mission of the project, as well as a clear guiding element for their "Career path".
Ms. Nguyen Hoang Quy - Account Manager CEO, UFO Asia shared her planning skills and experiences.

The knowledge turned to the initiative and responsibility of the members, forming the orientation of thinking in the collective environment: "we will '' instead of "I will". Ms.  n recognized the point in the Team's Decision Making Process. She believed that was a practical experience that enabled the members to grow. She emphasized the keyword: “Be open to solve the problems by sharing and being frank with each other.”
Ms. Dinh Nguyen Thien  n - Director of UEF Service - Learning Center imparted knowledge to guide the members to "openness in communication".

On May 10th, On-Job-Mentoring 2 proceeded with the theme "Communication" with a large presence of community partners and students of the project.
The training session underwent discussion and problem analysis activities at hand to identify the problem, and it was provided with a variety of sources of knowledge towards the goal of sharing experiences from media channels, communication plan, etc., especially knowledge about Internal Communication. Personal experiences of project members through the UEF Service-Learning Center’s spirit of "Open communication".Community skills have initially supported them in exploiting the small aspect of listening, approaching and changing themselvé.
During the implementation of On - Job - Mentoring for Digi Me project, the students did not hesitate to share their problems and feelings about the importance of Internal Communication. However, the knowledge practiced at the sharing session did bring the members together to come up with creative ideas, understand more deeply about the tasks of the project and bring positive and vibrant energy during the operation process

Digi Me project members have the opportunity to practice directly at the training session.

“This is the first time I have known about Internal Communication. After today, I realize it is no less important than External Communication”
“Finally, I can name my problem and have a way to solve it.”
"After today, I will change my working mindset, I will be proactive and not rely on others" - The students shared their feelings before the end of the training session.
At the end of the professional training session, the UEF Service-Learning Center initially fully equipped Digi Me students with knowledge to apply in supporting community organizations, this achievement was expected to be the springboard for Digi Me to become a sustainable "bridge" in building cooperative relationships with community partners in the next 5 years. Through practical experiences and useful sharing of mentors, the Center hoped that students would not only contribute their energy and youth to the development of the community, but also learn and deepen their knowledge to develop yourself.
