​Digi Me - "the link" between students and community organizations

The Center of Service - Learning (CSL), whose mission is advocating community-integrated learning at UEF, is constantly on a journey of innovation, development, and adaptation to the new social context. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, community projects were always in ready mode despite new challenges, thanks to online platforms. Thereby, Digi Me was created as a link between UEF students and community organizations.

 
Digi Me is an online project. Its missions are managing and running Digital Marketing and Communications campaigns for Non-profit Organizations and social enterprises based on online advertising and communications methods. The main force of this project is UEFers, who will have opportunities to get hands-on experience and enhance their knowledge of Digital Marketing.

 
In July 2021, the project kicked off with the participation of 40 students divided into four groups. The first phase ended with impressive results, including website, brand identity, fan page, quality articles, etc. Not only that, but Digi Me also contributed to organization development and disseminated information to the target audience.
 
 
In continuation of the favorable responses from insiders in the first phase, Digi Me started the second phase. Six groups conducted a variety of online communication activities. They aimed at bringing the image of organizations closer to the community.
Besides the knowledge and experience gained from implementing the projects, the students can hone their skills thanks to the training sessions of CSL, which also gives them the chance to meet directly with the community partners they’re going to collaborate with.

Digi Me "the link" is not only a project that provides meaningful value to the community but also an "experience class" where students receive valuable lessons and the opportunity to discover themselves. It plays a crucial role in fulfilling the mission of promoting community-integrated learning.
