“Thank adults” – Loving and Sharing

In Vietnam, June 1st annually is chosen as International Children’s Day. However, not only June 1st is a day for children but also there are many other days in the world to remember the mission of protecting and celebrating children – Bao Thanh Nien.


The message that “everybody deserves to receive educational support”, the campaign “Thank Adults” was launched with the participation of UEF’s students, in coordination with students from the University of Architecture  – “Art for Kids” under Huynh Tan Phat scholarship funds. Students decorated some walls as well as raised funds to make learning tools, toys for children at Binh Trieu social kindergarten - belonging to Ban Tre Em Duong Pho organization (FFSC).

The campaign was conducted with interesting activities at the university: 

• The activity of selling festival flowers and candies happened on the 1st and 4th floor at the university. Above all, we also offer delivery services in various locations within the school. The selling prices ranged from 7.000 VNĐ to 35.000 VNĐ.
• The most dynamic thing was that students could revisit their childhood, play games and watch childhood movies. 
• Besides, fundraising boxes were also put on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th floors. 

The campaign is a part of a Service-learning project: decorated and raised funds to make learning tools – Binh Trieu Social Kindergarten to provide learning tools for children having difficult circumstances and lacking regular studying conditions.
This campaign started on February 24th, 2019, and is expected to end on April 14th, 2019, with many meaningful activities. Let’s join hands, with even a little effort so that each child will have a fulfilling studying environment and a colorful childhood to remember.
