After visiting the classrooms and functional rooms, the USF students were introduced to UEF and gained a better understanding about the importance of the activities and projects that they were about to undertake. Before the project was launched, they also attended a training course on working with children.

On the same day, the students had a trip to learn and initially get acquainted with the children at Truyen Tin Orphanage. Here, UEF students actively supported their USF friends to overcome the language barrier to have the first interesting activities with more than 30 children being nurtured.

In this project, UEF students will coordinate with USF students to guide children with special circumstances at Truyen Tin Orphanage in skills such as financial management skills, life skills, etc. to help them enhance their inner strength. This is the first international Service-Learning project to be deployed to expand resources, support and offer UEF students the opportunity to work with international students to contribute to the community most effectively.
