1. General Introduction

The Faculty of Languages and International Cultures at HCMC University of Economics and Finance (UEF) was established on 20 March 2019, based on the separation of two programmes (Japanese Language and Korean Language) from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and International Cultures to form an independent faculty.

Currently, the Faculty offers three majors: Japanese Language, Korean Language, and Chinese Language.

3. International Cooperation

Although it is the youngest faculty at HCMC University of Economics and Finance (UEF), the Faculty actively seeks and expands international partnerships, creating various opportunities for its students to participate in academic exchanges, study programmes, scientific research, cultural experiences, and internships at Japanese and Korean enterprises, as well as at the campuses of partner universities in Japan and Korea that have established cooperation agreements with UEF.

Japanese universities that have signed cooperation agreements with UEF include:

Kobe International University (KIU), Ibaraki Christian University (IC), Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), Dong-A University, and ABK College.

Korean universities and institutions that have signed cooperation agreements with UEF include: Wonkwang University, Wonkwang Health Science University, Woosong University, Baekseok University, Chungkang College of Cultural Industries, Ho Chi Minh City Korean Language Institute, and the Sejong Hakdang Foundation Headquarters in Vietnam.

Chinese universities that have signed cooperation agreements with UEF include:

Guangxi University.
