UEF acceptance to the scientific research topic on e-commerce platform of IT faculty’s lecturers

On 28/7 afternoon, the UEF’s IT faculty has organized the acceptance session for the university-level scientific research topics done by the IT faculty’s lecturers, contributing to the development of the scientific research work of UEF’s lecturers in general, enriching the UEF’s scientific materials as well as becoming useful reference source to the UEF’s students.
The acceptance board includes: Dr. Nguyen Ha Giang – Head of IT faculty – Chairman, MS. Van Thi Thien Trang – Deputy Head of IT faculty – Member, MS. Nguyen Minh Tuan – Deputy Head of IT faculty – Feedback, MS. Pham Phu Thanh Sang – Director of the IT Management Center – Feedback, MA. Nguyen Pham Hai Ha – Deputy Head of the Institute for Postgraduate Education and Science & Technology – Secretary.

The accepted topic is “Build of simulated e-commerce platform for UEF students” led by MS. Nguyen Quang Minh. 
According to the presentation, MS. Nguyenx Quang Minh simulated particular roles on the e-commerce platform such as: UEF’s students are sellers, buyers, suppliers, delivery forces are robots.

 

The scientific research topic in e-commerce field has been accepted.
 
With such an e-commerce model, the research group has clarified each task of the e-commerce platform and how to manage it. There are 8 tasks: follow the fanpage and take orders, assign the process to employees, confirm the orders, print the order and package, send the goods to delivery, monitor the customers’ complain handling, control the good returns, cross-checking and COD payment receipt.



The process of particular tasks in an e-commerce platform 
 
In each task, MS. Nguyen Quang Minh has analyzed the operation as well as management of each task to show the procedures of such an e-commerce platform. Besides, he also introduced the method to get a seller to a top search position on an e-commerce platform according to each particular criterion. The criteria used for assessment are: shop optimization, precise report of product lists, original goods, express-delivery, sales revenues, shop ranking, conversion rate.
After the research conduct, the research group has described the results in a demo video and showed it at the acceptance session. At the end of the scientific defense and grading based on various criteria, the Assessment board has decided to give the authors the final score of 85.4 marks on average.
