UEF conducts the evaluation of university-level scientific research overviews – trench 2 - 2021

Aiming to promote the scientific research movements among its lecturers, in order to improve the teaching quality of the university, on 19/4/2021, the HCMC University of Economics and Finance (UEF) has organized the meeting to evaluate university-level scientific research overviews – trench 2 – school year 2020 - 2021.
The Assessment board includes members who are the leaders of the Institute for Postgraduate Education and Science & Technology, English language faculty, and Finance-Trade faculty. The participants include: 1 topic from the Finance – Trade faculty, 2 topics from the English language faculty.
The topics presented in the meeting includes:
- How the relationship between social responsibility and enterprise’s operation performance will respond to the gender difference of CEO: Evidence from Vietnam.
- Study of the English language majored 3rd year students’ understanding and the application of 21th century academic skills at the HCMC University of Economics and Finance (UEF).
- Teacher’s subjectivity in scientific research activities: Analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, challenges and strategies in promoting scientific research among English language lecturers at the HCMC University of Economics and Finance.

Authors present their scientific research contents
At the assessment session, heads of research groups have one by one presented their research methodologies. According to the assessment board’s comments, all research topics are highly applicable to the teaching models at UEF. Besides, to give new directions to the research, the Board members have given many detailed feedbacks on the content of the research, from which the authors can review and adjust the feasibility of the research, and solve mentioned issued efficiently.

The assessment board has feedback and discussed and approved highly applicable research topics
At the end of the presentations, with positive feedbacks, the Board agreed to approve 3 scientific research topics. The authors will continue to adjust, complement and improve the research overviews according to the Board’s comments.
