UEF International Institute exchange training orientation with professors of UoG (UK)

APRIL 15 - UEF International Institute held a meeting to collaborate with a delegation of professors from University of Gloucestershire (UoG) to enhance training quality and create learning opportunities for UEFers in the UK.
The meeting was featured by participation of Prof. Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal, Director of the International Institute; Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh, Deputy Director of the International Institute; Dr. Nguyen Kim Thoa, Deputy Director of the International Institute, along with specialists and faculty members from the Institute. Representing the University of Gloucestershire (UoG) were Prof. Vassil Rachkov – Academic Director of the International Business program, and Ms. Sara Hooke – Senior Lecturer in International Business.
UEF International Institute and UoG discussed the upcoming training plan
The meeting on academic collaboration between UoG and the UEF International Institute was chaired by Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh – Deputy Director of the UEF International Institute, with a focus on delivering specialized knowledge in International Business to final-year students. Discussions centered around teaching methods, assessment strategies, and learning outcome objectives. This was an opportunity for both sides to share insights and make adjustments to ensure teaching quality and graduate outcome standards.
Meeting on educational activities of International Business
The professors from UoG also shared their experiences in implementing teaching practices and assessment systems in the UK, offering valuable insights for the faculty at the UEF International Institute and laying a solid foundation for enhancing students’ learning quality.
In addition, student exchange initiatives and the development of international semester programs were also discussed, chaired by Dr. Nguyen Kim Thoa – Deputy Director of Gloucestershire Vietnam. Accordingly, UoG and Gloucestershire Vietnam will provide opportunities for UEFers to study in the UK with full tuition fee waivers throughout the duration of the exchange program. This marks a significant step forward in improving teaching quality and expanding study opportunities in the UK for students.
UEF International Institute and UoG propose a student mobility program plan and international semester

This meeting served as an opportunity for open exchange and for faculty members and UEFers to directly engage and learn from international experts. Through training sessions and experience-sharing activities, both institutions agreed to enhance and innovate teaching methods, thereby improving the overall quality of education in the International Business program.
