In the context of higher education having a strong transformation towards practical learning - practical working, the expansion of partnership with enterprises is not only a trend but also serves as a key factor in universities’ development strategy. The main collaborative activities is the unlocking gate with practical journeys for students to approach the professional workplace, cultivate their skills, and enrich their knowledge soon. APRIL 22 - Under the influence of understanding the importance of connection between training and practice, UEF Faculty of Languages and International Cultures organized the collaborative signing ceremony between the Japanese Language and the two Japanese enterprises: Seishin Company and Terakoya Company. This served as a significant milestone, marking the extensive development in the university’s international partnership network and opening up numerous opportunities for internship, working, and Japanese cultural experience for UEFers.

This event unlocked various new academic opportunities for UEFers
The event had the honor to welcome Mr. Do Quoc Anh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Dr. Nhan Cam Tri, Vice President; Mr. Vo Van Thanh Than, Director of the Center of Vietnam-Japan Human Resources Development, and Deputy Dean of Faculty of Languages and International Cultures, together with leaderships of other units, and representatives of the two Japanese enterprises.
Upon delivering at the ceremony, Mr. Do Quoc Anh presented his welcome to the partners as well as emphasized the UEF’s internationalized orientation throughout the time. As a part of it, Japan is one of the pioneer nations and plays a crucial role in the international internship strategy for students. He affirmed that: “UEF not only emphasizes academic knowledge but we also focus on building connections with businesses to equip students with practical good practices. The collaboration with partners such as Seishin and Terakoya will contribute to realizing the goal of training high-quality human resources capable of global integration."

On behalf of enterprises, Mr. Le Tran Tuan, Director of Seishin Company indicated their belief in the UEF’s training modules and he expected this partnership will help students have more opportunities to go abroad, supplementing the knowledge and skills necessary for their future careers.
By having the same perspective, the CEO of Terakoya Company, Mr. Minami Hiroya shared that: “We recognize this collaborative opportunity is not only a significant step in our partnership but also serve as our motivation for better development in friendly relations between the two nations Vietnam and Japan. We believe that UEF will remain as an institute for training high quality human resources.”

Through this collaboration, UEFers, in general, and the Japanese Language students, in particular, will have more various opportunities for internship, cultural experience, and professional workplace working in Japan. This serves as one of the constant efforts of the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures with the aim to enhance the training quality, providing students with opportunities for being ready for global integration right from their time at university.
