UEF Partners with Indian Institutions to Boost Global Tech Education Collaboration

APRIL 16 - UEF welcomed representatives of universities and companies in the educational field in India including: SR University, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Aditya University, Unteched Private Limited to collaborate and MOU signing ceremony. The two parties brought numerous areas of collaboration to the table, particularly focusing on programs related to technology fields.

The event was featured by the presence of Dr. Nhan Cam Tri, Vice President; Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Vice President; Prof. Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal, Director of International Institute; Dr. Nguyen Ha Giang, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; Dr. Van Thi Thien Trang, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; Dr. Nguyen Kim Thoa, Deputy Director of the International Institute; Ms. Hoang Thi Hang, Dean Assistant of the Faculty of Information Technology, along with other faculty members.
Representing partners were Dr. Debajit - Director International, VIT; TS. Mohd Rafi Lone - Coordinator, International Relations, VIT; Prof. Dr. Ranjit - Dean of International Relations, Aditya University; Ms. Pritha Chakrabarty - Director International Affairs, SR University; Ms. Sultana Khan - Founder & CEO Unteched Private Limited.
Before the signing ceremony, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc and Prof. Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal provided a brief introduction to UEF and its strengths in international education.

Dr. Nhan Cam Tri also gave an overview of student activities at UEF, highlighting the international internship programs and the growing number of countries where UEF students are currently interning. He expressed hopes that this partnership would pave the way for future internship opportunities in India.

Representatives from the Indian institutions introduced their respective organizations, outlining key strengths and expressing their enthusiasm for a comprehensive collaboration with UEF. All three universities are well-established in the fields of technology and engineering. VIT, in particular, is ranked 11th among engineering institutions and 19th overall in India according to the NIRF 2024. SR University is recognized for its focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, and it is home to SRiX—India’s largest Technology Business Incubator in tier-2 cities—working in collaboration with major corporations like IBM, Microsoft, and Cisco. Meanwhile, Unteched specializes in educational services and global academic partnerships, aiming to support and promote collaboration between international institutions.

With shared goals in mind, both sides explored a range of international collaboration opportunities to enhance academic and research development, especially in technology fields. These include international semesters, joint research, student and faculty exchanges, international conferences, global internships, and short-term mobility programs.

Through this partnership with Indian educational institutions, UEFers will have access to new knowledge systems and skill-building opportunities, helping broaden their global perspective and advance on their path to international integration.
