International Student Day 2026 welcomes UEFers to explore cultures with international friends
If each culture were a destination, in just one morning, UEF would bring its students to numerous places around the world without leaving the campus. From flags, special dishes, unique costumes, and traditional musical instruments to folk games, International Student Day 2026 will open up a journey of cultural exploration with the theme “Diving into Cultures” on September 12.
This event will not only provide UEFers with a chance to meet international students from 9 countries but also an opportunity for them to interact with the foreign friends, explore unique characteristics of different cultures, and expand their network in a multinational learning environment.
International Student Day 2026 opens up exchange opportunities to connect with students from 9 countries around the world
The journey “Diving into Cultures” will begin at the check-in area. Each attending student will receive a Cultural Passport and team flag, officially starting the special cultural exploration at UEF.
Next, the Flag Match-up activity will divide students into random teams. From the provided flags, the members will get to know each other, make their own team flags, and collaborate to overcome the upcoming challenges.
At the event, cultural areas will be recreated through various forms of direct experience at the 4 Culture Booths & Mini Games. UEFers will be able to explore the culinary, costumes, musical instruments, and folk games while challenging themselves with unique mini games with the theme of each culture.
With each completed challenge, the players will collect stickers and stamps on their “passport”. This is also the ticket for the teams to continue their journey, redeem gifts, enjoy signature dishes, and head to the Final Game with their teammates.

UEFers will have an opportunity to dive into the language and cultural space right at the beginning of the new academic year
In addition to interactive games, the International Student Day 2026 will also organize cultural exchange activities where UEFers can step out of their comfort zone to take initiatives and make new friends as well as listen to various perspectives on lifestyles, learning, and cultures of different countries.
The event is not only to “watch” or “simply know” about a culture. Instead, during each game, cuisine, story, and meeting, students directly become a part of the multicultural experience.
The event will take place from 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 12, 2026, at UEF Innovation HUB, 4th Floor, Campus B, 161 Dien Bien Phu, Gia Dinh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
