During the meeting, representatives of both universities discussed directions for cooperation in the current context, where higher education is placing an emphasis on internationalization and strengthening the connection between learning and practice. St Aloysius University prioritizes promoting lecturer and student exchange as well as research collaboration and publication. These are potential areas for the initial phase, which will provide a basis for both sides to enhance the partnership step by step.
Building on that foundation, the two universities can develop flexible pathway programs, giving students opportunities to experience the learning environment in Vietnam and India both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The partnership development directions also included cademic exchange activities such as specialized student contests, conferences, symposiums, and seminars to increase knowledge exchange and experience sharing as well as encourage ideas for collaborative research.

Representatives of both sides discussed directions for cooperation in the next phase
Besides academic collaboration, St Aloysius representatives also shared their orientation toward integrating education with learners’ entrepreneurship, creativity, and practical skills. Their students are encouraged to develop ideas, actively implement their projects, and gradually apply knowledge in practice. The University also organizes extracurricular and cultural activities, as well as performance art, to create an educational environment where students can explore and leverage their talents, collaborative skills, and self-confidence, instead of only focusing on specialized knowledge.
UEF is consistently promoting internationalization in teaching and learning through expanding its partner network, diversifying collaborative programs, and increasing opportunities for students to gain exposure to international educational environments. The partnerships with Indian universities are expected to offer various learning, exchange, and research options, and at the same time, encourage interaction between Vietnamese students and the international community.
The meeting also featured discussion on the possibilities to connect with businesses, educational institutions, and recruitment agencies with a view to expanding students’ opportunities to gain practical experiences and develop their careers. These directions provide a basis for the partnership to grow beyond academic exchange, aiming at application-based activities to meet learners’ needs for professional development in the international work environment.
