A Journey of Spreading Love and Connecting Communities

To celebrate International Children’s Day (June 1, 2025), the Faculty of English at the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City (UEF), in collaboration with Nam Phuong English Center, organized a charitable event titled “Colors of the Future” in Can Tho City. The journey served as both an act of compassion and community connection, while also strengthening the partnership between the two institutions, opening up new opportunities for academic and social collaboration driven by shared values of responsibility and humanity.

Thanks to the warm hospitality, seamless coordination, and genuine volunteer spirit of the Nam Phuong English Center team, the event became a meaningful success. Together with UEF, these wonderful partners wrote a beautiful story about kindness, collaboration, and the bonds between educational organizations.

The trip brought not only practical gifts - both material and emotional - to the children of the Street Children’s Club in Can Tho, but also embodied UEF’s commitment to social responsibility, one of the core values the Faculty of English consistently fosters among its students and lecturers. It offered learners the chance to learn beyond textbooks through life experiences, empathy, and acts of sharing with the community.

Looking ahead, it is hoped that the partnership between UEF and Nam Phuong English Center will continue to grow stronger, with more meaningful charitable initiatives jointly carried out in the future. The vibrant and heartwarming moments of the “Colors of the Future” event with the children of the Street Children’s Club in Can Tho City were captured through these photos that reflect the smiles, joy, and meaningful connections.
