The Conference on the Review of Quality Assurance Activities for the 2020 - 2025 period provides a foundation for UEF to continue achieving higher goals.
Over the past 5 years, UEF’s quality assurance efforts have achieved significant progress. These outcomes not only reflect the sustained commitment of units across the University but also reaffirm its determination to build a quality culture that is learner-centered and oriented toward sustainable development.
Delivering the opening remarks and outlining the vision and strategic directions for UEF’s quality assurance efforts in the coming years, Dr. Kieu Xuan Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated: “Quality assurance is a major area of work in a university and a prerequisite for evaluating quality. In the past 5 years, all necessary and assigned tasks have been fully completed and effectively carried out by the Office of Quality Assurance in collaboration with the units. Quality assurance must be ‘translated’ into improving the quality of UEF’s operations, enhancing the quality of training services and student support services, and strengthening management quality; these are the deeper goals we aim for. Throughout this period, each phase has had different goals and tasks, and we have achieved at least the set targets; it is expected that in the new phase, we will reach higher goals. In addition, digital transformation in education is highly important, and quality assurance also needs to be digitized. During this period, many fundamental foundations have been established and a relatively complete system has been developed; in the next phase, higher targets will be set, with more professional and more comprehensive operations, aligned with international orientations to enhance the brand and standards, thereby affirming the University’s position”.
Dr. Kieu Xuan Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors delivered the opening address at the conference.
Dr. Kieu Xuan Hung also expressed his sincere appreciation to faculty members for their significant time and efforts in advancing UEF’s quality assurance work and achieving notable accomplishments.
