DECEMBER 19 - UEFers' journey of the international semester at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) officially came to an end. During the last two weeks of the "study abroad" trip in Taiwan, the students eagerly absorbed new knowledge, visited businesses, and engaged in many interesting experiential activities.
In the digital age, Electronic Commerce has become an inevitable trend, contributing significantly to the economy. "E-commerce in the digital age" is also a course that UEFers participated in during the last week of their recent overseas trip. Students got a broad overview of the field and identified its position on the modern economic map during the nine sessions. Based on the analysis and sharing of international specialists, they could connect back to the Vietnam situation to see the areas that need to be strived for and developed to promote e-commerce business.
Apart from the busy hours in class, UEF students also participated in extracurricular activities such as visiting businesses at ITRI and Neiwan, Field Trip: Learning how to make pineapple cake - a Taiwanese specialty, visiting Beitou - Hotspring, Xiang Mountain,... Through these activities, they were able to broaden their worldview and get the opportunity to understand the culture of the host nation.
At the end of the trip, students were awarded certificates of completion. The success of this study journey has solidified the partnership between UEF and MCUT. Previously, two universities had implemented many student exchange and cultural exchange programs. Hopefully, the two sides will continue to promote these activities with other interesting themes to help students access knowledge in a more comprehensive way.
