IR students participated in the first HCMC Friendship Dialogue in 2022

Recently, the Faculty of International Relations is proud that many IR students have actively participated in supporting the reception of delegates to the first Ho Chi Minh City Friendship Dialogue in 2022 with theme: "Adapting for Recovery and Creating Development" took place at the Independence Palace (Ho Chi Minh City) from December 2 to 5, 2022.

This event recognized and expressesed the City's gratitude to international localities that have supported the City to overcome the pandemic; create a channel to tighten friendship with localities that have friendly relations and cooperate with the city in the process of recovery and development. Event is an opportunity to promote its role of connecting localities, creating conditions to introduce the potential and development goals of localities through exchange activities, promoting the image of Ho Chi Minh City as a attractive tourist and investment destination for international friends;

Attending the conference were Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Mr. Nguyen Van Nen; members of the Party Central Committee: Mr. Bui Thanh Son, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Head of the Central Committee for External Relations; Mr. Phan Van Mai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; and representatives of 23 localities from 12 countries around the world that have friendly cooperative relations with Ho Chi Minh City, including: Germany, Korea, USA, Laos, Cambodia, Australia, Japan, Russia, China, Belarus, Philippines…

Tuyet Anh  welcomed Ms. Matsuda Chiharu - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Shiga Prefecture, Japan at the Rex Hotel lobby, the event of offering flowers to Uncle Ho's statue.





The Faculty of International Relations is proud and congratulates the students who have actively participated in supporting activities for the first Ho Chi Minh City Friendship Dialogue in 2022 with the theme: "Adapting for recovery. and Development Construction". This is a useful activity because it helps students have the opportunity to apply the professional knowledge and Diplomatic Etiquette Protocal learned at the Faculty.
