The training of the Club's Board: Session 2 - Organizational and Work Management Skills

To improve the capacity of organizing and managing the work of the Club's Board and Executive Committee of the Union, the Faculty of International Relations organized a training course of the Club's Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Union, Session 2: Organizational and Work Management Skills.

 

This is the 2nd training session in the Club's Board and Executive Committee of the Union training course of the Faculty of International Relations. The training session took place at 18:00, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, by online form via the Zoom platform. 

Participants included: Dean of Faculty of International Relations; Ms. Luu Ngoc Tram, Alumni of Faculty of International Relations, Sales Manager of Abaydi Co., Ltd.; advisors, the Club's Board, and the Executive Committee of the Union; students who are club members and collaborators of the Union have the desire to apply to the Executive Committee of the Club and the Executive Committee of the Union.

 

Organizational skills use resources (time, health, spirit, energy) to achieve maximum productivity at work. Organizational skills are demonstrated by rearranging documents on the computer, desk arrangement, prioritize each task, determining what is essential.

 

Dr. Tran Thanh Huyen emphasized the importance of organizational skills through the following factors: improved work performance; improved human-to-human cooperation; increasing the ability to interact, communicate, exchange, and discussed with partners and colleagues; minimized unproductive work habits such as procrastination, losing your temper, and not understanding each other.




To be well organized, students need to plan; time management; balance time between study, work, and rest in moderation; Form multi-tasking skills; Set goals and a roadmap to achieve them; Associate, cooperate with others to get the job done.

Dr. Tran Thanh Huyen has provided the Eisenhower Matrix as a valuable decision-making tool, helping to increase work efficiency and eliminate activities that waste time and do not help us accomplish our goals.

The second part of the training session was an exchange between the guest, Ms. Luu Ngoc Tram. Through the lead by Ms. Le Phuong Cat Nhi, Lecturer at Faculty of International Relations. The issues you raised in the exchange are sharing experiences about Work-Life Balance, handling the crisis, and interacting with other members of the team. In particular, Ms. Le Phuong Cat Nhi shared that students should have many exchanges during the working process to ensure that the parties understand the work progress and handle conflicts quickly.

Before concluding the exchange, Dr. Tran Thanh Huyen introduces students to applications to help manage and organize work effectively. At the end of the session, students were able to exchange and listen to experience sharing from Ms. Luu Ngoc Tram. Thus, each student equips himself with the necessary skills in management work, contributing to improving the quality of the faculty's organizations.

Ms. Tram hopes that the students of the Faculty of International Relations are dynamic and active in exchanging and presenting their opinions and views when working to receive the best work productivity.

This is an activity exclusively for the Clubs and Union Branch. Members who fully participate in all training sessions and complete the assessment test will be issued a certificate.
