Nowadays, the need for human resource in Finance – banking management has become increasingly important while the supply is in a shortage. To meet that urgent need, with the permission of the Ministry of Education and Training, the HCMC University of Economics and Finance (UEF) is now opening the admission for Master in Finance – banking (code: 8340201).
The content of our education program has been designed to equip learners with intensive academic knowledge that is highly applicable in practice in the area of finance, in order to meet the need for high quality human resources who can work efficiently in domestic and international finance environment. This will be one of the prestigious education program in Master of Finance – banking that learners can choose to pursue with an aim of improving their professional understandings and skills.
The program of Master of Finance – banking is suitable for all university graduates with the same major or related major such as: Business Administration, Accounting – Auditing, Economic management… Graduates from other majors can attend extra courses to transfer their credit to be able to enroll in the Master of Finance – banking.

With solid knowledge in Finance – banking, international finance, financial analysis, investment, fund management, risk management, etc, the learners will develop the ability in financial management, risk management, investment management by analyzing the decision-making process of the company, studying the financial statements, understanding and applying the tools, techniques and strategies in risk management, thus they will be able to build and organize a program for risk management at a particular organization.
After graduating, the learner will have necessary knowledge and skills to become experts and senior and middle level managers in banks, financial institutes, stock trading companies, and other financial institutes in Vietnam and other countries in the region. They also can become a researcher or leacturer at research institutes or universities and can pursue a PhD degree.
