On June 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF), marked a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to academic excellence and international integration, as its Bachelor’s programs in English Language and Finance & Banking officially received FIBAA Quality Seal from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).

Two study programmes at UEF awarded FIBAA Quality Seal.
Receiving the FIBAA Quality Seal is not only a clear endorsement of UEF’s commitment to delivering internationally recognized academic quality, but also a testament to its learner-centred, sustainable development orientation and deep integration into the global higher education landscape.
UEF recognized for exceeding expectations in key quality criteria
Regarding governance, UEF’s two programs met all mandatory quality standards and were especially commended by the FIBAA Assessment Panel for exceeding expectations in several key areas:
- Strong industry engagement and career orientation: UEF has established a broad network of over 1,000 local and international corporate partners, providing students with diverse internship, practicum, and employment opportunities during and after their studies.
- Academic and career mentoring by faculty: UEF lecturers are not only qualified educators but also active academic mentors and personal advisors who support students in developing critical thinking, independent learning skills, and personalized career pathways.
The expert panel from FIBAA conducted a quality assessment of the two academic programs in March 2025.
The international accreditation of UEF’s Bachelor in English Language and Bachelor in Finance & Banking affirms the academic quality of the programs and offers a wide range of practical benefits for students.
Students enrolled in FIBAA-accredited programs benefit from several distinctive advantages, such as globally recognised qualifications; exposure to an international, modern, and practice-oriented learning environment; instruction and academic guidance from internationally qualified faculty; enhanced career prospects and global competitiveness; and access to a learning system committed to continuous improvement.
Through regular accreditation and re-accreditation processes, the University consistently updates programme content in alignment with contemporary educational trends and labour market developments; innovates teaching and learning methodologies; and upgrades digital infrastructure, academic support systems, and student services.
Choosing FIBAA-accredited programs is a strategic decision for students who aspire to comprehensive development in knowledge, skills, and global mindset – enabling them to become internationally competent citizens.
