SECRECTARY - GLOBETROTTR EXPATRIATION COMMUNITY JOB DESCRIPTION

GlobeTrottr is an expatriation community in Saigon. We connect expats’ needs to local offers from accommodation to visa, transportation and travelling. Our customers are young and dynamic citizens from Europe and America.
We are looking for a Secrectary, who will enjoy working with young expats and in an dynamic startup environment. No experience is required, however, we are looking for a bright coworker who will commit to stay long with us (at least 3 years) and eager to become our Operation Manager. Your main tasks:
1. Assist your Manager in operational daily tasks such as organising to welcome new expats to GlobeTrottr’s accommodation, preparing paper works, dealing with suppliers, writing documents, etc.
2. Doing research under your Manager’s instruction.
3. Making weekly and monthly reports based on our template and process guideline.
4. Participating with our team in organizing events to connect our expat customers while they are living in Saigon or helping in planning tours for them to travel around Vietnam.
5. Other tasks from your Manager’s instruction.
Requirement:
1. Fluent in writing, speaking and listening in English as you will work with English speaking colleagues and customers.
2. Detailedcare, wellorganised, good logical thinking, research and planning skill.
3. Eager to learn as you will be trained to become an Operation Manager.
4. Calm, good listener, sincere and patient as you will be in an hospitality business which you might service some difficult customers who request uneasy things.
5. Capable of using Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
6. Have a laptop, as you will have Wednesday working from home instead of coming to the office.
NOT Required but a PLUS if you are:
7. French fluency as our customers mainly come from France.
8. Capable of using Wordpress to make website.
9. Capable of and love to write Facebook posts in English about interesting things in Saigon for expat readers.
Compensation: Salary: please let us know in your Motivation Letter your current salary or expecting salary for this position.
Offered lunch with team on Monday - Tuesday - Thursday.
Gas & Telephone allowance. Office location: 188 Nguyen Van Huong St, Thao Dien, District 2, HCMC. Working hours:
From Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 4pm
Wednesday (full day) & Saturday (half day): you will work from home under your Manager’s instruction.
