From UEF, attendees included Mr. Do Quoc Anh – Vice Chair of the University Council; Dr. Nhan Cam Tri – Vice President; Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President; Dr. Ly Thien Trang – Director of Assurance and Quality Accreditation; together with leaders of Faculties, Institutes, Offices, and Centers. Notably, the ceremony would not have been complete without the Board of Deans of the Faculty of Finance – Accounting, the faculty members and staff, and the entire Class of 2025, creating a dignified, warm, and inspiring atmosphere.
In the opening remarks, Dr. Ly Thien Trang extended a warm welcome to the Class of 2025. She also emphasized the Faculty of Finance – Accounting as one of the university’s core strengths in training. In particular, UEF leadership encouraged students to sustain lifelong learning, proactively adapt to social change, and continuously develop both professional and soft skills to keep pace with career trends in the modern context.

On behalf of the faculty, Dr. Ha Thi Thuy – Dean of the Faculty – conveyed a meaningful message to new members that the university journey is a series of experiences combining knowledge and practice, where each individual must nurture passion while cultivating professionalism to transform the “first spark” into steady steps on the path to a future career.

During the program, corporate partners awarded practical scholarships to the Faculty’s Student Support Fund, demonstrating long-term investment in young talent. This action contributes to investing in and developing training programs, extracurricular activities, academic playgrounds, and encouraging UEFers’ learning efforts.
After a long journey of effort and perseverance in high school, today’s freshmen have officially reaped the “sweet fruits.” With willpower, aspiration, and a spirit of conquering knowledge, they have passed the most important examination to enter university with impressive results. In recognition of these efforts, the Faculty and its corporate partners presented valuable scholarships to the incoming Entrance Toppers as a token of appreciation and encouragement, adding motivation for the students to continue moving forward on their path of learning and growth.

Alongside the formal ceremony, the festive segment brought a lively, youthful atmosphere true to student spirit. New UEFers had the chance to explore a series of engaging activities such as visiting club and Youth Union – Student Association booths, meeting with enterprises to learn about careers, checking in to receive gifts, engaging in cultural exchange with students from Indonesia, joining mini-games, enjoying energetic performances, and eagerly awaiting the lucky draw. All these activities created a space filled with experiences, connections, and a memorable start to the university journey for FFA freshmen.
The Faculty of Finance – Accounting welcomed its “new recruits” in the spirit of “Future Sparks 2025: From sparks to success,” officially opening a university chapter full of vibrancy, meaningful connections, and opportunities for growth. From the University’s messages and motivation from industry partners to hands-on activities, the new generation of students has been given added advantages to turn aspirations into action and begin a purposeful academic journey at UEF.
