On the evening of December 2, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting continued to organize the program “Guidance on building a study roadmap and an extracurricular participation plan to maintain admission scholarships and graduate on schedule” . The program aimed to help students thoroughly understand academic requirements, thereby confidently develop a suitable study roadmap and ensure on-time graduation.
Attending the program, representatives of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting included Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Lâm, M.A. – Vice Dean. Guest speakers included Ms. Phạm Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Châu – Deputy Director of Accounting Products and Learner Relations, Smart Train Academy, and Ms. Đoàn Hải Ngọc – Director of IELTS Mentor (Gia Định Branch).

The guidance session supported students in building an effective study roadmap toward the goal of on-time graduation.
During the academic guidance segment, Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Lâm, M.A. thoroughly systematized regulations on course grades, academic performance criteria, scholarship maintenance conditions, and graduation outcomes. This helped students clearly understand academic requirements and build an appropriate study roadmap aligned with the training program. He also analyzed common mistakes students tend to make and proposed solutions to help UEFers proactively adjust their learning methods, thereby ensuring the goal of graduating on schedule.
In addition to academic content, Mr. Thanh Lâm emphasized the role and importance of extracurricular activities in developing skills, accumulating conduct points, expanding practical experiences, and enhancing competitiveness when entering the labor market. He also encouraged students to participate in scientific research to support their graduation reports and further develop professional thinking.

Continuing the program, Ms. Đoàn Hải Ngọc shared practical insights and highlighted the importance of English certificates for graduation requirements as well as workplace demands. The atmosphere became more dynamic with a mini-game session and attractive gifts from the center, encouraging and motivating students in their learning journey. As a result, students gained an overview of language certification pathways and could build a clearer learning plan, moving closer to the goal of graduating on schedule.
In addition, Ms. Phạm Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Châu brought professional and practical perspectives on career development, while also updating students on digital transformation trends in finance and accounting. She encouraged students not only to master theoretical knowledge, but also to strengthen soft skills and learn how to apply AI in professional tasks. These directions help students enhance their competitive advantage and expand career opportunities in an international working environment.

During the session, students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting attentively absorbed the information and actively engaged with the speakers on study roadmaps and career orientation. Practical questions and detailed responses from the speakers helped students gain deeper understanding of their academic pathway and develop a career development plan that best fits them in the future.

The guidance session concluded successfully, providing students of the 2024 cohort in the Faculty of Finance and Accounting with valuable knowledge and useful information. With the companionship and sharing from the speakers, students were able to clearly grasp academic requirements, thereby building appropriate learning strategies to maintain scholarships, keep pace with the training roadmap, and ensure on-time graduation.
