UEF signs MOA with STIE YKPN Yogyakarta Indonesia, expanding research and training partnerships

On the morning of December 18, UEF held a meeting and professional exchange with STIE YKPN Yogyakarta (Indonesia) to discuss international collaboration opportunities in scientific research and training. The session further connected the two institutions, reflecting a shared aspiration to build a sustainable academic partnership.

Attending on behalf of the partner institution were Dr. Wisnu Prajogo (Chairman), Dr. Soegiharto (Assistant Professor), Dr. Julianto Agung Saputro (Lecturer), Prof. Dr. Baldric Siregar (Director of the Graduate Program), and Dr. Theresia Trisanti (Lecturer).

Representing UEF were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc (Vice President), Dr. Ngo Minh Hai (Vice President), Prof. Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal (Director of the International Institute), M.A. Nguyen Thanh Lam (Vice Dean, Faculty of Finance and Accounting), and Dr. Nguyen Kim Thoa (Deputy Director, International Institute).

During the meeting, both sides focused on proposed collaborative activities, including directions for joint scientific research, faculty and student exchanges, co-hosting academic seminars, and developing training programs aligned with each institution’s strengths. The discussion highlighted shared educational and research orientations, particularly in economics, finance, and accounting.

Based on the alignment of objectives and collaboration mechanisms, the two sides proceeded to sign the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) right after the meeting. The MOA is expected to provide an important legal and academic foundation for effective cooperation between UEF and STIE YKPN Yogyakarta in the time ahead.
