The “La Bàn Ngành Chứng” workshop concluded successfully, drawing strong interest from students
The workshop featured Mr. Bùi Việt Cường, Director of Public Bank Vietnam Securities Company, together with corporate representatives. From UEF, attendees included M.A. Nguyễn Nam Trung, Assistant to the Dean of the Faculty of Finance – Accounting, and Võ Nguyễn Thủy Tiên, President of the UEF Securities Club.

A representative of the Faculty sent a letter of appreciation to the speaker
During the session, Mr. Bùi Việt Cường and colleagues provided an overview of the essential competencies for careers in securities—from market analysis and critical thinking to agility in processing data and understanding the attributes employers look for in candidates—helping students better prepare for their professional journey. Mr. Cường emphasized: “To progress further and deeper in finance in general, and securities in particular, you must commit to continuous learning”.

The speaker and invited guests delivered a wealth of valuable information and insights on the securities sector to UEFers
Given the sector’s rapid pace of change, professionals in securities must pair analytical thinking with the ability to adapt to a market rich in both risks and opportunities. Without sufficient skills, it is easy to fall behind—underscoring why students should cultivate practical capabilities right from the classroom.
UEF students not only listened attentively but also engaged in a lively Q&A with the speakers, delving into common questions, pitfalls, and risks that newcomers often encounter when entering the securities market.

Students participated enthusiastically, offering remarks and engaging in discussion with the speaker
The workshop “La bàn ngành Chứng” offered valuable subject-matter knowledge and real-world perspectives on the securities and finance industries, thereby strengthening students’ professional toolkit and confidence as they embark on their careers. We trust that, following the program, UEFers will feel more assured in pursuing this challenging yet opportunity-filled path.
