A representative of the Faculty sent a letter of appreciation to the speaker
According to the speaker, the rollout of KRX marks a technological step forward, reflecting Vietnam’s effort to align with international standards in risk management, information transparency, and payment security. The new system is built on advanced technology, modernizing the entire chain from trading to clearing and replacing the infrastructure that has operated for more than 20 years.
He further emphasized that KRX paves the way for a series of important improvements such as same-day T+0 trading, covered short selling, conditional orders, expanded derivatives trading, and upgraded margin mechanisms—thereby enhancing the market’s liquidity and operational efficiency. These factors are also crucial for Vietnam to gradually meet FTSE and MSCI criteria for market reclassification, moving closer to the group of emerging economies.
