Accordingly, on 12/12, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting (UEF) organized a corporate visit to Crowe Vietnam and the KPMG Vietnam Branch (District 7).
Through this activity, students had the opportunity to directly explore business operations in the accounting and auditing industry. As a result, they gained clearer insights into professional requirements and gradually shaped a development roadmap that fits their personal strengths and goals.
In the morning, UEFers visited Crowe Vietnam—part of Crowe Global, one of the world’s leading networks in audit, accounting, tax, and business advisory services. At the company, students were introduced to an overview of Crowe’s development journey, organizational culture, and core values.
These insights helped students better understand corporate operating models while visualizing a professional working environment in financial services.

After the introduction, UEFers were connected with professional knowledge tied closely to real-world practice, exploring key certifications, career development pathways, and the opportunities and challenges unique to accounting and auditing.
These sharings enabled students to better understand market expectations, equip essential skills, and build an appropriate study plan—laying a solid foundation for their future direction.
Through a direct Q&A session with experts, UEFers had their questions answered regarding post-graduation career opportunities. In addition to professional guidance, experts emphasized the role and importance of professional ethics in accounting and auditing, while encouraging students to proactively learn, practice, and connect with alumni to better understand the profession and shape a suitable roadmap.

From the enterprise’s perspective, students gained a holistic view of the accounting and auditing sector
After the exchange, students toured departments, observed document-processing workflows, and experienced Crowe Vietnam’s workplace environment—thereby gaining a deeper understanding of how the business operates.
In the afternoon, UEFers visited the KPMG Vietnam Branch—recognized as one of the world’s Big4 auditing firms. Here, students explored KPMG’s distinctive corporate culture and core values that have strengthened its position in Vietnam and globally across audit, tax, legal, and advisory services. This experience helped students visualize a standardized working environment within multinational corporations.

Continuing the program, students listened to managers from different departments sharing details about job nature, professional requirements, essential skills, and development pathways for each role. These practical perspectives helped students understand employers’ expectations for young talent and clearly shape suitable career directions after graduation.

Professional insights offered students a clear and practical view of the career pathway
In particular, the presence of two UEF alumni currently working full-time at KPMG brought relatable, real-life stories about their professional journey—from interview preparation to becoming official employees. This helped students better understand recruitment expectations and strengthened their confidence in pursuing accounting and auditing in a professional environment.
Corporate visits are consistently prioritized by UEF as an effective bridge between academic training and workplace realities. By enabling students to engage directly with professional environments, these activities help UEFers gain a more comprehensive view of the industry, understand employer requirements, and gradually build a roadmap aligned with their individual goals.
By observing, exchanging, and experiencing real operations at enterprises, this visit delivered practical value for students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting (UEF) in both learning and post-graduation career orientation. This serves as an important foundation for UEFers to strengthen confidence in pursuing accounting and auditing within professional workplaces.
