Company visits and practical learning are signature activities at UEF, designed to help students connect with businesses, experience real-world practices, and enrich their career development. Continuing this meaningful tradition, on the afternoon of June 26, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting organized a company visit and learning session at KPMG Vietnam.
In addition to exploring the professional working environment of one of the “Big Four” auditing firms, UEF students also participated in a workshop titled “Insights on KPMG Delivery Center & Audit at KPMG”. The session provided them with a deeper understanding of the company’s operations while shaping clearer career pathways in Finance, Accounting, and Auditing.

As one of the four largest auditing firms in the world, KPMG has affirmed its leading position not only in Vietnam but also internationally, offering top-tier services in audit, tax, law, and business advisory. With a multidimensional approach, KPMG combines expertise and industry knowledge to seize opportunities and address challenges through five key areas: Audit, Consulting, Deal Advisory, Tax, and Legal Services.
Opening the program, Ms. Lê Nguyễn Thúy Mai introduced the development journey and operational philosophy of KPMG. Students also gained insights into the company’s vibrant corporate culture, which emphasizes creativity and teamwork through initiatives such as Feel Good Friday and K-Station, fostering an ideal working environment for personal growth.
The workshop on “KPMG Delivery Center & Audit” gave students an overview of two core functions within the company. Representatives highlighted the Audit division, which provides international-standard financial statement auditing services, and the KPMG Delivery Center (KDC), which delivers specialized support services leveraging modern technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ms. Lê Ngọc Vy further explained the operations of the KDC in Vietnam, describing its role in integrating data analytics and process automation to boost service performance and ensure consistency across consulting and tax teams.
Through case studies and direct discussions with experts, students were able to clarify their questions, develop adaptive thinking, and learn how to collaborate effectively in a professional, high-pressure environment. They also gained practical insights into recruitment criteria, workplace culture, and talent development programs at KPMG.
