The meeting between UEF and FAITH Colleges aimed to strengthen academic cooperation

During the session, both parties discussed key cooperation priorities focusing on: scientific research collaboration, international publications, and academic development; co-teaching activities, sharing teaching experience and curriculum design; faculty and student exchange programs; co-hosting international academic competitions such as: Marketing Research Olympic, YouBranding – Personal Branding, Young Innovators – Startup Innovation Talent, and Recruitment Conqueror – Conquer the Recruiter; and jointly implementing practical project-based activities between UEF’s Project-Based Learning Design Center and FAITH Colleges.

Through practical perspectives, Dr. Refozar illustrated how businesses can apply the Balanced Scorecard to analyze operations, set strategic objectives using the 5W1H model, and balance four perspectives: financial, customer, internal processes, and learning & growth.

Notably, the workshop welcomed a large number of students from UEF and partner universities in Indonesia such as Perbanas Institute Jakarta and Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau (UMRI). Student teams presented creative projects under the theme “Applying the Balanced Scorecard to a Favorite Business,” featuring three representative models: an airline in Malaysia, a coffee shop startup project, and the Cocoon cosmetics brand.
