UEF’s IT Faculty successfully organized the 3rd seminar on "Innovation in the Digital Age"

In the morning of 20/7/2021, the 3rd Science and Technology Conference organized by the UEF’s IT Faculty with the theme "Innovation in the Digital Age" has taken place successfully with the participation of representatives of the UEF’s Board of Directors, the Board of Operations, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Information Technology.
 



The seminar was held online

At the beginning of the seminar, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngo Cao Cuong – Deputy Principal of the UEF said that despite the complicated progress of the Covid epidemic, the UEF still has online scientific research activities, typically the CFAC 2021 National Science Conference that took place recently. With this seminar of the IT Faculty, he was very impressed with the number of attendees and the topic of this year's seminar. He hopes that the faculty's lecturers will always be at the forefront of scientific and technological research work.

Dr. Nguyen Ha Giang - Dean of IT Faculty added: “Scientific research is a core activity that contributes to improving the quality of training at the Faculty and the UEF. Over the years, the faculty's scientific research activities have continuously developed in both quantity and quality, contributing to the overall development of the University. This scientific conference received the participation of a large number of lecturers with a variety of topics, spread equally across all education specialties such as: network and information security, data mining, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, …”.

Dr. Nguyen Ha Giang reviewed some scientific research achievements of the faculty
With the goal of serving teaching activities and enhancing innovation in the digital era, the Organizing Committee has selected 4 papers out of 15 submitted papers to report at the program.
04 reported topics include: (1) "Undergraduate Online Teaching: New Trends and Values" by MA. Vo Dinh Nga; (2) "The impact of Call-To-Actions Contents on Sales Performance in e-commerce" by MA. Nguyen Quang Minh; (3) "Research and analysis of security in software defined networking" by Mr. Nguyen Minh Thang; (4) "Automation of Daily Tasks with Microsoft Power Automate" by MA. Ngo Van Cong Bang.










Reported topics at the seminar
 
Accordingly, the authors have presented a summary of the research topics, the members of the evaluation committee have made critical comments on the urgency of the topic, research objectives, research models, research results and proposed solutions.
In general, the papers are of scientific quality and are associated with the majors being trained at the faculty. Dr. Nguyen Ha Giang hopes that the authors will continue to improve the topic, delve into the research so that these articles can be published in prestigious domestic and foreign journals and become a practical source of learning materials for students.
