UEF welcomes students from Adelphi University (USA) to visit and exchange culture

AUGUST 12, UEF welcomed students from Adelphi University (USA) this afternoon to visit, get to know the university environment, and exchange culture with UEF students. The activity set up an open space for connection, offering students from both universities opportunities to explore the culture, education, and lifestyle of the two countries.

Leading the Adelphi University student delegation were Assoc. Prof. R. Sentwaii Bakari - Vice President for Student Affairs and Ms. Kelsey D’Andrea - Assistant Director, Center for Student and Community. Representing UEF were Dr. Nhan Cẩm Trí - Vice President and Ms. Nguyễn Thái Hà - Deputy Director of the Center of Corporate Relations.

In the opening speech, Dr. Nhan Cẩm Trí gave an overview of UEF, sharing about the highlights of the university’s international training programs, through which the Adelphi University student delegation had a more thorough perspective on UEF’s international learning environment and training orientation.

Besides, Ms. Nguyễn Thái Hà presented general information about Vietnam’s higher education system and some characteristics of its educational culture. This sharing contributed to giving international students a better understanding about the learning and living context of Vietnamese students.

The highlight of the event was the cultural exchange activity between the two universities’ students. UEF students introduced their American friends to the special features of Vietnamese culture and cuisine, bonding with the international students through the Bingo games about the local specialties.

During the trip, the student delegation from Adelphi University also visited UEF’s facilities, experiencing students’ learning space and amenities in person.
