Faculty of Law Honors “Five-Good Students” at Faculty Level, Inspiring the Journey of Holistic Development

“Five-Good Student” has long been a milestone for many generations of students, not only because of its recognition of academic achievements but also for its significance in honoring comprehensive development in ethics, skills, physical fitness, and community service spirit. Behind each title lies a long journey of perseverance, resilience, and an unwavering will to rise.

In a solemn and warm atmosphere, on the morning of December 24, the Faculty of Law organized the Faculty-Level Five-Good Student Commendation Ceremony for the Academic Year 2024–2025. The ceremony provided an opportunity for lecturers and students to reflect on the persistent efforts of the Five-Good Student movement, while recognizing and honoring outstanding individuals who have strived to develop themselves in multiple aspects. The certificates awarded were not only well-deserved rewards but also memorable milestones in each honored student’s journey of growth.

The Faculty-Level Five-Good Student Commendation Ceremony contributed to spreading the spirit of holistic striving and self-improvement among students.

Attending the program, representing the Standing Committee of the University Youth Union, was Mr. Dương Trường Thuận – Deputy Secretary of the University Youth Union. Representing the University Student Association were Mr. Huỳnh Hoàng Nhật An – President of the University Student Association, and Ms. Lê Lương Hồng Thắm – Member of the Secretariat of the University Student Association.

Representing the Faculty of Law was Mr. Vũ Anh Sao, MA – Vice Dean, along with faculty members and representatives of the Executive Committee of the Faculty Youth Union and Student Association. Notably, the ceremony was also attended by Lawyer Lê Bình Phương and Lawyer Hồ Văn Nho from Bình Dương Law Firm, who provided practical perspectives and meaningful encouragement to law students.

During the 2024 – 2025 academic year, alongside academic responsibilities, Faculty of Law students actively participated in movement activities, volunteer programs, academic initiatives, and international integration activities. With a strong sense of responsibility and youthful enthusiasm, they contributed to the faculty’s achievements and helped spread the image of dynamic, creative, and resilient UEF students.

At the ceremony, Ms. Võ Thị Anh Thư – President of the Faculty Student Association – presented a summary report on the Five-Good Student movement, highlighting outstanding achievements over the past academic year. Under the close guidance of the Party Committee, the University Board of Rectors, the University Youth Union Standing Committee, the University Student Association Secretariat, and the support of the Faculty of Law leadership, the Faculty Student Association successfully organized many meaningful activities and achieved notable accomplishments, including receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Student Association for outstanding performance in student movement activities during the 2024 – 2025 academic year.

Impressive figures reflected the growth of the Five-Good Student movement within the Faculty of Law. While the 2023–2024 academic year recorded 11 Faculty-Level Five-Good Students and 5 University-Level recipients, including one student achieving the title for two consecutive years, the 2024–2025 academic year marked further progress with 13 Faculty-Level recipients and 7 University-Level recipients. Notably, one student achieved the title for two consecutive years, and another maintained the Five-Good Student title for three consecutive years.

Mr. Vũ Anh Sao shared words of encouragement and motivation for students on their upcoming journeys.

To be recognized as a Five-Good Student, each individual underwent a long process of self-discipline and improvement based on five criteria: Academic Excellence, Moral Integrity, Volunteer Engagement, Global Integration, and Physical Fitness. This journey included diligent study, active participation in student activities, and constant self-challenges. Sweat, pressure, and even tears became part of the process, ultimately leading to pride and radiant smiles at the moment of recognition. Beyond serving as a milestone marking past efforts, the ceremony also symbolized a starting point for new journeys, where students continue to nurture aspirations and affirm their personal values.

The Faculty of Law recognized and rewarded students with outstanding achievements in student movement activities.

Concluding the ceremony, the spirit of the Five-Good Student movement continued to spread like an inspiring flame, motivating Faculty of Law students to continuously learn, train, and contribute. With today’s solid foundations, students are expected to further demonstrate resilience, intelligence, and social responsibility, contributing to building the image of UEF students in general and Faculty of Law students in particular as confident, globally integrated, and valuable contributors to the community.
